exceptional students

Some great resources out there on the web. I found some amazing videos walking the user through simple web design that I will definitely use in the future. I love the graphic organizer section and find it very useful for helping all students visualize how to remember ideas or instructions on how to complete tasks. The taxonomy in the article is always a useful tool to have as well. Favorite section so far.

Student example

The rubber really meets the road in this project. The physical example can be one of the most important aspects to student learning for those kids who need differentiated instruction. I love this part of the process because I get to be creative and help the students realize the benefits of video in PE and what they are capable of in terms of 21st century skills.

Assessments

Finished the assessments portion of the class the other day and discovered how much great information is on that intel website. I also learned, or relearned the importance of using many different kinds of assessments not just formal ones. Further, it is beneficial for the kids to assess their peers in informal and non judgmental ways.

Busy Busy busy

Although I am really busy I was able to begin looking at the module one sections before summer school began. I really enjoyed the sections on types of questions to focus on and was able to start developing my lesson plan.
